- ARIES ActionTrac powered running boards are unique from other power side steps because they are actually two steps in one. This patented step-within-a-step design -- combined with a no-drill bracket installation on most models, control module operation and powder-coated aluminum construction -- truly makes these retractable running boards an asset for the offroad truck or Jeep, particularly as lifted truck steps. ActionTrac powered running boards have one 4 in. wide step on top of the main housing and one 3 in. wide that automatically deploys as needed. When the door opens, the control module deploys the power step 8 in. below the main step, 15 in. below the doorsill, depending on the model. This two-step design offers enhanced safety and easier vehicle entry and exit, especially on large, lifted vehicles. Its also very helpful for families with young children and for elderly passengers. The boards contour to the vehicle and offer extra protection for the rocker panels from small road debris. For additional safety, the module is able to detect any obstructions during operation to avoid p in. hazards. LED lights are also built into the housing to illuminate the steps when deployed. ARIES ActionTrac powered running boards are made for vehicle-specific installation for a custom fit. They use pre-existing factory holes for the brackets to eliminate drilling on most models. They also do not require any splicing into factory wiring. These particular running boards fit specific years of the Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon (see application info to verify fitment). Each set is constructed from powder-coated aluminum to be strong, lightweight and non-corrosive. The quiet, maintenance-free rotary motor is shielded within the main housing, along with the power step pivot points and all electrical components, protecting them from the harsh elements. Other available finishes include high-gloss black stainless steel, textured black steel and semi-gloss black steel. Customizing the look of your vehicle is simple with the ARIES 3 in. bull bar. It is equipped with pre-drilled light mounting holes and a removable skid plate. The center crossbar features two pre-drilled holes that readily accept an LED light bar or two LED work lights. The skid plate is made from 304 stainless steel and has a brushed finish to stop rust and hide scratches and scuffs. It also features an aggressive, ARIES-exclusive cutout pattern and can be removed for a customized look. Each ARIES 3 in. bull bar is made a vehicle-specific design, meaning that for each make and model, the bull bar has a custom bend and unique mounting brackets. This allows for the best possible fit on your vehicle and ensures solid attachment. The brackets also use pre-existing factory holes in the vehicles frame to eliminate drilling, speed up installation and increase rigidity. Other than the fact that it features a solid one-piece build, a tough powder coat finish and a vehicle-specific design, the ARIES Pro Series grille guard has a unique center crossbar that houses an LED light bar, allowing you to truly set your truck apart from all others. Rather than using a set of light clips or forcing you to drill holes into the frame, the aerodynamic crossbar of the Pro Series grille guard is the light bar housing itself. It uses a 30 in. slotted channel bracket to mount the included 30 in. LED light bar #1501264. The bracket can also accept other single-row light bars (some 30 in. light bars may not fit). The crossbar mount can also articulate, allowing you to position the light beam at any angle you prefer. Integrating the channel mount into the crossbar housing also keeps the light bar protected from the elements. To further stylize your truck, the Pro Series grille guard also comes with an interchangeable grille guard cover plate. Included with each grille guard is a black mesh cover plate that easily bolts on and provides added security for your aftermarket lights. - ARIES AdvantEDGE side bars do away with the common, rounded look of other side bars, nerf bars and running boards, featuring an angular, eight-sided tube profile and powder-coated all-aluminum construction. The angular edges provide a clear-cut, uncompromising accent for the look of todays trucks. Made from 5-1/2 in. wide, eight-sided, extruded aluminum tubing, AdvantEDGE running boards are strong, lightweight and impervious to rust, offering a solid step that is built to face the elements and outlast them. They also come with die-cast aluminum end caps and a stamped aluminum tread. The aluminum treads provide a long-lasting, non-skid stepping surface that will not crack or fade in the sun. ARIES AdvantEDGE side bars are also marked for their easy, custom-fit installation. They feature the ARIES VersaTrac mounting system with brackets that are made from powder-coated steel and built for specific vehicles. This particular set of custom running boards fits specific years of the Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon (see application info to verify compatibility). The high-strength steel brackets mount using pre-existing holes, and the aluminum running boards attach to the brackets with heavy-duty hardware. The VersaTrac mounting system makes installation simple and customizable, allowing the side bars to be swapped out at any time with other side steps or running boards that use the VersaTrac system.
