- The Performance Accessories Body Lift Kit is a popular method to raise Jeep Wrangler TJ by providing three-inches of additional lift and allowing the use of up to 32-inch diameter tires. This kit includes all the necessary components to raise the vehicle in 4 to 5 hours. This kit includes high pressure fiberglass reinforced nylon lift blocks, manual transmission shift extension, transfer case pivot and radiator dropdown brackets. Add a set of Performance Accessories urethane (Gap-Guards PN-6908) to extend the inner wheel well covers and hide any visible gaps between the body and frame (sold separately). Benefits: Provides two-inches of lift without modifying existing suspension components. Allows use of 32-inch diameter tires and factory rims for improved ground clearance. DOES NOT alter the OEM suspension geometry. Keeps the Jeeps center of gravity lower than a comparable suspension. - Most people know the benefits of upgrading a vehicle's suspension with polyurethane components, but the cab & body mounts are often overlooked. Factory mounts are constructed of rubber which break down over time due to exposure to various drive train fluids and the elements. As the body mounts break down, they become less and less effective at isolating the cab from chassis allowing road noise and vibration to transmit up through the body. In extreme conditions, worn body mounts can cause the body to shift on the frame and increase body roll as well as creating a number of other potential problems such as shift linkage and body panel alignment.
