- The ICON Vehicle Dynamics 2005-2023 Toyota Tacoma Lower Control Arm Kit is designed to be the ultimate stock width replacement control arm upgrade. Their fully welded, boxed, CNC laser cut and brake formed steel plate construction is internally braced with multiple ribs to offer significantly improved strength over the stock Tacoma LCAs. Featuring a high ground clearance design, specially angled plates also allow the arms to easily slide over larger obstacles out on the trail. CNC machined forged steel ball joint housings maintain the highest possible ground clearance while also ensuring strength and appropriate CV boot clearance on 4WD Tacoma models. Rather than using traditional top mounted coilover mounting tabs, these LCAs utilize recessed coilover mounts, further increasing strength and provide race inspired styling. Their incorporated secondary shock mounting tabs tie seamlessly into the ICON S2 Secondary Shock System for a fully bolt-on installation of multiple secondary shock options to effectively double the shock damping ability of the front suspension and improve off-road performance. Like all ICON'S Shock Absorbers, V.S. 2.5 Aluminum Series shocks are 100% rebuildable and 100% revalveable. For piggyback and specific remote reservoir applications, ICON'S unique use of a 6061 billet aluminum manifold a few inches below the top cap of the shock creates an internal Bump Zone that when used creates an additional 20% of damping force. This additional force helps prevent harsh bottom outs and controls the suspension when compressing at high velocity. The ICON CDC Valve is an externally adjustable valve that restricts oil flow into the reservoir which creates 10 levels of compression damping force ranges. - ICON Vehicle Specific (V.S.) 2.5 Aluminum Series shocks are designed and built to give your vehicle outstanding performance off-road and a smooth ride on the street. These shocks are configured specifically for each application in both length and damping tune. Like all ICON'S Shock Absorbers, V.S. 2.5 Aluminum Series shocks are 100% rebuildable and 100% revalveable. For piggyback and specific remote reservoir applications, ICON'S unique use of a 6061 billet aluminum manifold a few inches below the top cap of the shock creates an internal Bump Zone that when used creates an additional 20% of damping force. This additional force helps prevent harsh bottom outs and controls the suspension when compressing at high velocity. The ICON CDC Valve is an externally adjustable valve that restricts oil flow into the reservoir which creates 10 levels of compression damping force ranges. If you are looking for a more user defined tune, consider looking into the Omega Series bypass shocks.
