Upper control arms can only be purchased in unison with ICON shock absorbers as a complete system. The included ICON Vehicle Specific (V.S.) 2.5 Aluminum Series shocks are designed and built to give your vehicle outstanding performance off-road and a smooth ride on the street. These shocks are configured specifically for each application in both length and damping tune. Like all of ICON's Shock Absorbers, the V.S. 2.5 Series shocks are 100% rebuildable and 100% revalveable. For piggyback and specific remote reservoir applications, ICON'S unique use of a 6061-billet aluminum manifold a few inches below the top cap of the shock creates an internal Bump Zone that when used creates an additional 20% of damping force. This additional force helps prevent harsh bottom outs and controls the suspension when compressing at high velocity. Remote reservoirs ensure optimum performance by increasing the duration of consistent damping regardless of situation, keeping the shocks at a cooler operating temperature during heavy use.

Their longer length offers an increase in total front wheel travel compared to stock, for a total of 9” front wheel travel (a 20% increase over stock) while still being compatible with the stock front upper control arms. ICON’s Vehicle-specific valving provides a sport tuned feel on and off-road while 1.5-3.5” of lift height adjustability on pickup trucks or 2.5-3.25” of lift height adjustability on SUVs, allows the use of larger, more aggressive wheel and tire combinations. The larger 2.5” diameter shock body and increased piston area over stock components provides improved damping ability and outstanding ride characteristics across varying types of terrain. - ICON Vehicle Dynamics V.S. Series 2.5” coilover shocks are an incredible upgrade for the front-end of 2019-2024 Chevrolet Silverado 1500/GMC Sierra 1500 trucks and 2021-2023 Chevrolet Tahoe & Suburban/GMC Yukon & Yukon XL SUVs. Their longer length offers an increase in total front wheel travel compared to stock, for a total of 9” front wheel travel (a 20% increase over stock) while still being compatible with the stock front upper control arms. ICON’s Vehicle-specific valving provides a sport tuned feel on and off-road while 1.5-3.5” of lift height adjustability on pickup trucks or 2.5-3.25” of lift height adjustability on SUVs, allows the use of larger, more aggressive wheel and tire combinations. The larger 2.5” diameter shock body and increased piston area over stock components provides improved damping ability and outstanding ride characteristics across varying types of terrain. When paired with ICON rear 2.0 Aluminum Series or 2.5 Series shocks vehicle control will be balanced front to rear, resulting in the best overall driving experience for your GM pickup truck or SUV.

The Delta Joint is a heavy-duty high angle ball joint that combines the durability of a ball joint with the performance characteristics of a traditional uniball. While the industry standard uniball does a great job of allowing the control arms of a vehicle to articulate with little bind, they do have an inherent weakness that leaves more to be desired when used in a daily driven application - exposure to the elements. The Delta Joint features a zinc plated housing providing the first layer of corrosion resistance, while a tough grease seal keeps potentially harmful elements out of the inner workings of the joint. Metal on metal construction and a greaseable design increase the longevity of the Delta Joint while at the same time allowing for noise-free operation. What makes the Delta Joint unique is that it brings the best of both worlds to ICON upper control arms with features that make it more robust than a uniball, and at the same time capable of greater angularity than a typical ball joint.
